Since inception, RAEN has put forth principles that define our brand. One of which is to create all of our products by hand. We value the individuality of every single piece we create and like to align ourselves with likeminded brands. RAEN Europe ambassador Jorge Hunt, a master of many trades, put together this feature on Self Surfboards. Self Surfboards was founded by Joseba Bernardo, a 29-year-old shaper from a small village in Northern Spain. All of his boards are hand shaped and glassed by the man himself, allowing him to maintain consistent quality control. Every piece he turns out is a true work of art.
