Long-time friend of RAEN and photographer, Pat Graham, has been behind the lens for more than 25 years. Needless to say you can bet that he has captured gold, silver, platinum, and any other precious metals metaphorically out there with his photography. While spending most of his time archiving photographs of musicians in their natural habitat, on the stage, or hitting the road, Pat has also shot commercially for brands such as Converse, Fender, and yours truly, RAEN. His repertoire is vast and his knowledge is wide. However, it can be said that the greater portion of Pat’s life has been dedicated to the photographing and following of a good friend and the band that he watched evolve… Isaac Brock and Modest Mouse.

Pat first came into contact with Isaac Brock in the early 90s where they became housemates just outside of Washington, D.C. and closely tied into the punk scene therein; Isaac was involved musically while Pat was connected through his camera/documentation. As Isaac moved away, Pat stayed until five years later where Pat would receive a call from Isaac asking if he would help with Modest Mouse’s first U.S. tour. Well the rest is history, as an ever-growing bond between the two strengthened and touring expanded overseas, Pat always had one thing close by… his camera. “Modest Mouse: 1992-2010” is Pat Grahams firsthand, visual account of Isaac Brock and Modest Mouse from their struggling beginnings to their rise to fame. This intimate account captures the highs and lows of a decade on the road with one of the largest indie rock bands to ever grace the planet. The beauty, the breakdowns, and everything in between.. through the eyes of Pat Graham.
