Choosing the perfect pair of shades or specs is easy when you know what you’re looking for. The main factor to consider when shopping for frames is your face shape. To keep things simple, you should choose a frame shape that is opposite of your face shape to complement your features.
##Glasses for Square Faces
Angular features, strong jawline, wide forehead, wide and defined cheeks, and a wide chin characterize square faces. The width of the forehead, cheekbones and jaw are all about the same. In selecting frames, you want to try and complement these features, rather than match them.

Round faces share characteristics of square faces in that the width of the forehead, cheekbones and chin are nearly equal. The difference here is that the features tend to be softer, and may lack the defined angles. Therefore, you should choose frames that add angles and definition.
